Why John Morakis Urges Voters to Vote For Jeannette McCarthy

Fellow resident of Waltham,

My name is John Morakis and I would like to tell you why I am voting for our mayor, Jeannette McCarthy. First I should tell you that I have never been involved in politics nor in any political campaign.

My family and I moved to Waltham back in 1983. I am sure that many families have been here much longer than that; and maybe even a lifetime. A lot has happened over the last 30 years, some of which I like and some that I don’t. I am very concerned about all this building that’s going on especially when it appears that there is little planning. Unfortunately, issues like this are decided by the City Council, of which Tom Stanley is a member. Now Tom Stanley says we need specialists on the payroll to figure all this out. NO TOM, ALL WE NEED IS A GOOD, WELL BALANCED MAYOR WHO IS INTERESTED IN THE CITY AND NOT IN HAVING LIFETIME POLITICSAL JOBS.

The other day, the Boston Globe wrote about the unions in Waltham, and in particular the police and fire departments. Some disgruntled members of the force were saying that conditions were not safe and the fleet of cars and trucks is breaking down. Isn’t it funny, that only now are they speaking out; just days before city elections. OH YES, THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPORTING, THROUGH THE UNIONS, TOM STANLEY.

In my long life, I haven’t seen a mayor that cares more about the City of Waltham.

For me the choice on November 3, is easy. I am voting for Jeannette McCarthy.

We do not know each other, but I do urge you to look at her record. Waltham needs Jeannette McCarthy.
